SOWERBY FLOWER CLUB REPORT...

Since the summer break, we have enjoyed two lovely demonstrations.

In September we welcomed Kay Ford from York. Her theme was “A Brush with Colour”, borne out in her generous number of arrangements which were later taken home by the lucky winners of the raffle.

October saw Jo Purdy from Scarborough, whose title was “Fabulous Flowery Females” Her delightful arrangements paid tribute to well-known women in the Floral/Gardening world.

These included the modern day Sarah Raven, and the legendary Gertrude Jekyyll. Again these became lovely raffle prizes.
